Stephen Kuhn

Stephen Kuhn heads up KO’s efforts in California and the Western United States. He is an experienced executive with 30+ years of experience leading media, technology, finance, wine industry and nonprofit organizations.

Most recently, Stephen has led the launch of the ONE Conservation Network (OCN), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of uniting diverse conservation organizations in California and beyond. OCN publishes the weekly OCN Newsline, aggregating conservation news and creating original content.

Previously, he was the founding Chairman and CEO of the media company Airex, Inc. Airex is, essentially, Amazon or iTunes for financially actionable apps, information and reports for the investment community. As the company’s founder, Stephen personally negotiated strategic relationships with global information providers including Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, Moody’s, Morningstar, Deutsche Bank, IDC, Nasdaq, Motley Fool and Mercer.

Stephen has been founder or co-founder of several companies in the United States, Europe and Asia. Early in his career, as an engineer, he created many successful software products. In addition to his roles with KO and OCN, he serves as a senior advisor to International Solutions Network, a boutique capital markets consulting company.

Stephen graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Classics, and studied graduate-level finance at Harvard University. He is married and has one daughter. He is passionate about food and wine, is an accomplished cook, and enjoys skeet shooting sporting clays, hunting, woodworking, cabinetmaking and squash.
