KO is hiring a communications associate to provide daily support and assistance to the team on client accounts, as well as manage the firm’s administrative needs. We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This can be a full-time or flexible part-time (25–30 hours in office) position depending on the candidate.
Support copywriting needs, including earned and social media and newsletter
Create general communications content with team
Perform account research
Perform data entry and management
Schedule and coordinate client meetings
Support event planning and meetings
Compile client press clips
Manage and maintain media and other content management software programs (Cision PR, Mailchimp, etc)
Support vendor management in collateral and advertisement design and printing
Manage company records and filing
Manage office purchasing
Provide scheduling support
Assist with general accounts receivable and accounts payable needs
Support creation of business development materials
Serve as office receptionist
Serve as POC for office vendors
Maintain daily office upkeep
The Ideal Candidate will:
Be self-motivated and an independent worker with a strong work ethic
Be committed to the KO team, the firm’s clients, and company’s growth goals
Possess the ability to quickly process new information and react to daily tasks in an efficient and effective manner
Be willing and available to work an occasional weekend and/or evening on an as-needed basis in order to attend client events and provide additional support to staff on client projects and deadlines
Be flexible and have a sense of humor
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially over the phone and through email
Possess strong organizational skills and an unwavering attention to detail
Be well versed on Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Must have your own vehicle
Proficient on social media platforms, including advertising and paid post boosting
Have experience with QuickBooks Online or a similar program (preferred, but not required)
50% paid healthcare and 401(k) for full-time employees. Salary is commensurate with experience.
